2011-11-08 - We are pleased to announce Davidson Funeral Home’s 60th Anniversary with the completion of the new formal chapel addition and the redecorating of the existing funeral home. The new chapel with padded pews can accommodate up to 200 people comfortably. There is an HD projector with a drop down screen to provide the viewing of a memorial DVD along with the video camera that will allow recording of the funeral service onto a DVD for the family to keep if they so desire. The electronic keyboard which is tied in the new sound system has the ability to be used as an organ or a piano for any musical wishes. For an extremely large funeral we also are able to seat an additional 100 people in our old chapel that has a monitor in order to see and hear the service if the need arises. A new entrance with handicap openers has been added and a new handicap washroom on the upper level for convenience.
